Pricing
All pricing displayed on the website is VAT inclusive. The amount of VAT paid on each product can be seen upon checkout.
Shipping
Shipping times are generally:
For items in stock: 2-5 business days within Cape Town and surrounding areas.
For items in stock: 3-7 business days within South Africa.
For items not in stock: 7-21 days (Depending on the location of the supplier).We deliver orders anywhere in South Africa. Should you be outside of South Africa, we can still arrange delivery to you. Please contact us directly before placing your order, so we can confirm shipping costs.
Delivery Cost
The shipping cost of your order is estimated upon checkout. The fee is generally R150 within South Africa for orders that are under R5 000. For orders above R5 000, shipping is free within South Africa.
Can I Collect an Online Order?
Yes, you may collect your online order in-store. Simply select the ‘Click and Collect’ option at checkout.
As we work on an appointment basis, please call ahead when you are coming to collect. Office Hours are Mon-Fri 9am-5pm.
Should you decide to collect, please contact us as soon as possible to ensure that your order is prepared and ready for collection.

What are Custom Orders?
Custom orders are for items that are not generally stocked or readily available in South Africa. However, with custom orders we can still source all products listed as such and delivery times will be discussed with the client.

Returns and Exchanges
Eligibility for Returns or Exchanges
Please be advised that returns for items ordered in error by customers cannot be accommodated. Nevertheless, we are committed to facilitating satisfactory solutions for your purchase and will assist with arranging replacements if feasible. This may entail coordinating with the supplier on your behalf. It is essential for customers to thoroughly understand the products they are acquiring, as Soundspeed and its representatives will not exert pressure to influence purchase decisions. By proceeding with your purchase, you acknowledge and accept these terms. Kindly note that all guarantees and warranties are provided by the supplier, not Soundspeed. Should a supplier agree to accept a defective return (which we cannot guarantee), the items must be in their original packaging, with all factory labels intact, and in a condition suitable for resale.
Returning Incorrect Items
If an incorrect (not ordered) product is delivered, an exchange will be initiated. Please let us know within fourteen (14) calendar days for any exchanges to be valid.
Returning Items with Defects
Customers are required to notify Soundspeed of any defects in their products and request rectification within twenty-one (21) calendar days of receipt. Please note that defects arising from improper handling by the customer are not covered. To initiate a return, customers must provide a copy of the proof of purchase and submit their request via email to ensure a written record.
Return Merchandise Authorization
To ensure customer satisfaction, Soundspeed is able to issue Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) codes for the return of equipment and items covered under warranty to the manufacturers for repair. Shipping costs will be determined and agreed upon with the manufacturer at the time of discussion.
