The DXTX can be mounted on a boom pole via it’s unique boom pole mount (sold separately). When paired with the XLR Link cable (sold separately), the DXTX is the perfect boom pole transmitter because of its lightweight nature and external antenna. Being able to record true 32-bit float means the boom microphone’s audio signal is being recorded in the most RAW format possible.

XLR TX units are notorious for poor battery life. The DXTX run over 14 hrs with a dynamic handheld microphone. When pairing the DXTX with lithium AA batteries, the unit is able to run HOURS beyond most needs.
Incredible Wireless Range
At 50mW, the DXTX is able to transmit over 150 meters easily. Internal testing shows that our wireless is capable of transmitting 100 meters even at 20mW.
