The Deity PR-4 Metal Cage with Integrated ORTF Microphone Mount expands the capabilities of the Deity PR-4 field recorder by turning it into a compact, all-in-one production rig. Designed to mount securely to both the top and bottom of the recorder, this lightweight aluminum frame adds protection while creating a versatile platform for attaching microphones, wireless receivers, and other essential accessories.
When developing the PR-4, Deity wanted to improve every aspect of the experience, even how it mounts. Under and on top of the PR-4 are now dual Arri-Style 1/4″ 20 mounts with locating-pins. When you now mount the PR-4 onto a camera cage, you know it will be truly secured to the cage. And when you go to add accessories on top of it, those accessories are budging either.
This design keeps setups compact, repeatable, and easy to deploy in the field.
