The VDB Boompole XL-QT is a carbon fiber microphone boom. The range of VDB carbon fiber telescopic microphone booms is made up of 6 models, all with the same characteristics:

• Made from high modulus carbon fiber for a better compromise between lightness and strength
• 6-section design to achieve maximum length and rigidity when extended, while reducing size when folded
• “Quarter Turn” clamping system for locking your pole in a quarter turn
• Removable internal mono or stereo cable option, straight or angled output, for all models (wiring kit sold separately)
• Unmatched longevity thanks to the replacement of all elements (tubes, clamping rings, etc.) in the event of damage to avoid the purchase of a new pole
• Removable “Quick Lock” type head screw ( TOP-SC-2 ) and standard heel ( 6-101 ) included ( 6-103 foam heel for L-QT & XL-QT models)

All these features make it possible to limit the range to 6 models covering practically all the operators' needs in terms of size while facilitating transport and storage.

The VDB M-QT model, due to its closed/open ratio, is particularly suitable for documentaries. Its lightness (430g) allows its user to take it anywhere easily.
